Advika Welfare Foundation was established in 2017 with the aim of providing higher education
to destitute children
coming from rural areas. As of June 2019, we are supporting 12 such students - 10 residential and 2 non-residential.
Bright students from needy families or NGOs, typically from rural areas face tremendous challenges to pursue their higher education after passing 10th grade. They can not afford to stay in cities like Pune which stops them from getting quality education and related facilities. Without any string support they eventually land up in doing secondery jobs in spite of having great potential. This is very unfortunate truth with most of the destitute children!
At Advika Welfare Foundation, we try to address needs of this particular segment by helping them with stay, food, education and any other required support in Pune. This enables these kids to get the same quality education as that of any other privileged student in the mainstream society. Along with high quality education we also focus on their holistic development by the means of improvement in communication and overall personality development.
